Giving Back:
Central to Erik’s mission is his belief in giving back to our community. Erik dedicates much of his time and energy into two important areas: fighting cancer and supporting our troops.
Erik volunteers as a Legislative Ambassador with the American Cancer Society, working to provide community support for local, state and federal advocacy activity. Erik also invests his time to raise money through the Relay For Life. He has spoke at events, developed teams, and performed the role of the Event Chair for the 2011 Relay in Agoura Hills, CA, which raised over $100,000.
As a member of the Cadre of Speakers for the Yellow Ribbon Program, Erik visits and speaks with our troops and their families to deliver powerful messages of hope and inspiration.
As a speaker for Blue Star Mothers H.O.M.E., Erik shares his personal story about his military service and the impact that it has had on his civilian life with the mothers of America’s servicemen and women.
